
French Speaker Translation Services Tender/RFP Sales Executive Job (100% Remote)
LingvoHouse Translation Services Ltd, is multi-language translation services provider targeting B2B, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing translation agency founded 12 years ago, with clients including Legal 500 law firms, FTSE 250 companies, top tier international banks and other companies worldwide. We are an all-digital company with a multilingual team located across the world & HQ in London.
We are currently looking to expand the team and hire remotely a B2B Sales Executive with specific experience in procurement, RFP & tenders participation. Prior Translation Industry experience will be an additional advantage. This entirely remote job can be either on-demand (freelance), or part-time, or full-time.
Location:
This role is remote/home-based, you can be located in any country and will not be required to travel to the London office, as long as you can work during UK business hours.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with rest of Sales Team on leads/sales enquiries requiring bidding via RFP or similar formalized quotations
- Bring in expertise to help with tender & spec evaluations, liaison with stakeholders, developing a winning strategy
- Analyze the translation documents with the use of CAT-tools (Trados or Memo Q)
- Help to write clear and persuasive sales copy and implement a sales & marketing strategy
- Contract/Ts&Cs reviews, contract management
- Organizing & coordinating the testing phase
- Organize & supervise client onboarding incl. creation of account linguistic assets
- Source & develop new leads, and develop a business on your own
- Help Sales Team quoting/managing other translation requests
- Step-in to project-manage projects end-to-end in CAT, if needed
- Supervise translators progress
- Cooperate with other managers and support staff to ensure effective teamwork in generating customer satisfaction over long-term
- Comply with established processes
- Continuously learn about the language industry and develop professional abilities
Alternatively, you can work as a consultant (freelance) helping with RFPs on-demand and compensation will then be on per hour basis (to be negotiated). To start with, we expect 5-15 proposals per month to be written.
Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of procurement routes and activities in the translation industry
- Experience & understanding of B2B Language Services
- Prior Enterprise Level Sales experience
- Experience of contributing to project management activities
- French on the level of a native speaker
- English Language on the level of a native speaker
- Any other European language is an advantage
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Must have expertise using Microsoft Office products, Outlook mail experience
- Ability to learn industry tools, soft & apps quickly
- Ability to read between the lines and understand stakeholder needs
- Strong communication skills to maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and ranks
- Ability to work to strict timelines balancing multiple work streams
- Self-motivated, flexible and responsible, works well under pressure
- Able to work independently as well as within a team

Compensation & Benefits:
- consisting of a competitive base £24,000 p/a gross (based on full-time), plus
- additional 50-150% of commission on sales, no upper limit (you would typically make up to £48,000 p/a as a total compensation)
