LingvoHouse Interns Mentorship Initiative 2022

LingvoHouse has been committed to operating in an ethical and sustainable way and championing Corporate Social Responsibility programmes. We know how important is to give back to the community and help in particular young people to embark on their careers.

In September 2022 the agency onboarded 10 young graduates for the translation internship programme which main aim is to train graduates on translation techniques, subtitling and CAT tools. The programme will help them to gain real-life exposure, grow their knowledge and determine if they are in the right career field. It will provide them with first-hand experience in the real working world but also enable them to understand the career trajectory for their desired job title. Also, it is an experiential learning opportunity that offers an invaluable chance for graduates to network and build crucial professional connections before they even start employment.

At the end of September, we organised an informal meetup call for the interns, our project managers and our global team project-management team lead, Daniela Gonzalez. All participants enjoyed the opportunity to chat with others, share their experiences and ask questions. We also played a quiz!
